The collision with injuries happened around 8:10 a.m. in the westbound lanes, west of Exit 58 to Madison Avenue in Paterson, the state's DOT website says.
Three lanes were closed. Traffic cam photos of the highway show vehicles at a near-standstill as of 8:20 a.m.
